House for Drury restores an existing house and adds a two-level, north-facing extension to the rear. The existing house contains the bedrooms, with living rooms downstairs opening onto the garden.
By building in under the house and minimising the new footprint, we maximised the area for garden. The extension is clad in weatherboard with a brick skin acknowledging the building materials found in the area.
