House for Stuartholme is a bushland retreat, despite sitting close to Brisbane CBD.
Much like a courtyard house, the siting of the building and the orientation of its living spaces connect it to the immediate gardens, swimming pool, and the greater landscape beyond. We carefully selected natural materials, including Australian hardwoods, to connect the building to its site, for durability, and for bushfire.
