House for Wordsworth amplifies the experiential qualities of the existing house. Bold, responsive additions sit alongside the original house, which is stoic and solid, with a series of brick arches.
New cladding draws inspiration from the large, round columns on the original portico. The geometry of the existing brick arches extrudes into intersecting vaults, forming the idea for the new living room ceilings.
